DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
Each of our artists work diligently to perfect their craft. Our potters are in the studio working daily; designing, molding, shaping, throwing forms on the wheel or sculpting from raw clay; encouraging their creativity through the various processes.

Our scgraffito artist utilizes some of the clay forms to apply underglazes and carve quirky and fun designs into the surfaces.

Our watercolor artist and photographer takes inspiration from travel and nature to create beautiful works.

And our leatherwork and hand sewn artist creates custom pieces from raw leather and utilizes recycled fabrics to construct various items from zippered pouches to handbags.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Travel, nature, interacting with other artists and their works. Being a part of a creative community allows for a variety of creative ideas to grow and come to life in various forms.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
4P Studios opened on Groundhog Day in 2015 (February 2). Having just celebrated our 10 year anniversary, we’re excited to start sharing our diverse collection of local art with the community.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT DOWNTOWN AUGUSTA.
The ever expanding opportunities for the local art community.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
It feeds the soul and is a healthy way to engage with one’s surroundings, feelings, and emotions.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?
Make art which makes you happy. Don’t worry about “what you think will sell”. The right person will connect more authentically with your work when it comes from your soul. And you’ll be happier when it sells too. Because someone found a piece of themselves in your work.
