WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
My name is Casey Corbin, I’m a Jewelry Designer. I live in North Augusta, SC. I have been making artisan jewelry for more than 10 years.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I utilize sterling silver, copper, bronze, gold filled, and gold plated metal wire and sheet to make some of my components. I design and create jewelry with natural gemstones, Swarovski crystals, and ceramic + raku beads. I make earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Of those, earrings are my favorite to design and make.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I’m inspired by nature, trends, color, and by my late mother, who taught me my craft.
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
I love turning the designs in my head into tangible, wearable art. Combining my vision and intuition with technique and skill gives me a feeling of joy and confidence. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone excited to wear something I’ve created.
