My name is Tracie Hinson. I am a visual artist based in Evans, Georgia. I create digital and acrylic paintings.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I begin with observation. I observe and take pictures daily, seeking beauty in ordinary places. I often find inspiration while out in nature, discovering connections in shapes, lines, and colors that resonate with thoughts or emotions that I may be experiencing. These photographs are often the basis of my digital paintings, where I can express my inspiration further through abstraction, color, and texture.

The Morris Museum! It is my absolute favorite go-to when I am in Downtown Augusta.
WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
Creating is like breathing for me. I get cranky if I cannot express myself in some artistic form daily.

Just keep making and creating! The world is a better place with you in it.
