WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
My name is Crystal Graber and I’m from Anderson, SC. I make handmade dolls and heirloom type stuffed animals.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I start by picking out fabric for the dolls and their clothes. I cut each piece out, sew it and embroider it. After dressing the baby or animal I add final touches like bows and accessories!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Children and babies often inspire me. I also get alot of inspiration and ideas from the fabric I choose to use.

I am a mama to seven great kids, ages 11-26!
FAVORITE THING ABOUT DOWNTOWN AUGUSTA.
I’m looking forward to getting to know downtown better and exploring that part of Augusta!
WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
I’ve been sewing and making doll clothes since I was 8 years old. I absolutely love making pretty things for others to enjoy. I love designing the individuality of my dolls. No two are ever the same.
