I live in Aiken, South Carolina, with my husband, two children, two dogs, and beloved kitty – London.
Love, London is an embroidery fundraiser to cover an emergency vet bill that London accrued after eating embroidery thread.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I started sewing in earnest five years ago, while the world was locked down. I started sewing clothing and costumes for my family. From there, exploring several different branches of textile art has been such an adventure!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I am deeply inspired by previous generations of smart, scrappy women in my family that made beautiful quilts and handcrafts that helped them generate independent income during a time when that was not the norm.

I’m also a beekeeper.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
Take something from your imagination and making it real is exciting. For sewing and textiles specifically, taking flat fabric and constructing dimensional items like clothing is so satisfying and gives a sense of magic ever
