I’m Lyda Day, but not quite sure who I am just yet. I am from Aiken SC, but surely wasn’t meant to be. I’m a painter, mosaicist, bone carver, & leatherworker.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
Process? I hope from project to project getting distracted by newer, more exciting projects. For this reason I rarely take on commissions as they require deadlines. I prefer to be able to shift between projects at my own discretion.

Nature, life/death, the infinitely expanding galaxy, politics, punk culture, my son.

Don’t ever give up on your passion. Taking years off doesn’t stop ou from being an artist. That never goes away.
