DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
All the hats are made from recycles cloth from old linens, clothing , and sewing projects. Each hat is one of a kind. For every hat sold one is donated to someone in need.
The planters and pot heads are made from hypertufa, a light weight cement recipe.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Inspiration for all of my projects come from my love of nature and respect for other’s works of art. I am very inspired by unfinished sewing and quilting pieces that have been in storage for decades, made by loved ones that passed away years before. The idea to make hats from recycled clothing came from a beautiful old wool jacket that couldn’t be worn anymore.
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
My grandson, 7 year old Odin, says that I am a unicorn…..he likes to remind me that red hair, blue eyes, and being left handed are all recessive traits.
