WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
My name is Katie Conkle! Born and raised in Evans, Ga but currently living in Augusta with my husband and our two children. I have a 3 year old named Ruthie, a 1 year old named Judson, and we have a new puppy named Sunny! It is the biggest blessing of my life to be able to stay home with them while simultaneously working on my pressed flower frames.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
To create a pressed flower frame whether it be a wedding bouquet or simple botanical design takes anywhere from 5-7 to complete. I receive the bouquet and deconstruct a majority of the flowers into flower presses so they will retain their shape and color as best as possible. Once the flowers have completely dried I will then begin to reconstruct each flower petal by petal and then start designing the frame! Once the frame is secure it will be a piece of art that will remain beautiful for a lifetime.

I have always been inspired by nature and a huge flower lover so getting to work with such beautiful flowers every day brings me such joy!
