WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
I’m an artist who returned to art in my 50’s. My work is inspired by nature, my faith and my hope to encourage women who have experienced trauma. I’m a Georgia girl but now live in Aiken, SC.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I love layering bold colors layered and often use paper collage and torn pages from hymnals. I mostly use acrylic paint but love oil pastels for enhancing.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I am inspired by the stories of others. I love connecting with others, mostly women who have overcome hardship or abuse. My faith and my personal story of returning to art as a comfort and therapeutic practice keeps me going and growing.

I just learned to swim for my 65th birthday!
