My name is Kaila Lathrop, I’m from Augusta, Georgia, and I own Sugar Willow Custom Cakery.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I consult with clients to design and create custom cakes. I also offer an array of baked goods such as various cakes, cupcakes, and cheesecakes, among others.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My Nana was the baker of the family and I spent many days right by her side. When she passed I naturally started baking for the family. My Nana is my inspiration.

I’m opening a bakery in the heart of downtown Grovetown.

I love looking at the older architecture downtown.

There is something exhilarating about taking the same cake and making it different for each customer.
