Meet the Maker:

WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
We are the Stearns family, a local foster family originally from Seattle, Washington. We work together to create string art. Tate, age 12 and Theo, age 10 do most of the work with help from Mom & Dad, as well as input from their younger siblings.

DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
We use all reclaimed wood that we scout that as a family. Mom and dad cut it, Theo paints it, Tate distresses and nails and Theo strings it. It’s a true collaboration!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
We love seeing new places, nature and meeting new people.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
We have lived in three different countries! We were in Korea for six months and missionaries in Nicaragua for over a year.

We love to eat at Farmhaus Burger.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
We like the process of making old and broken things beautiful.
