WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
Hi there! My name is Jess and I currently reside in Trenton, South Carolina. Five years ago, I fell in love with soap making and started selling soap to family and friends, eventually launching my soap business.
DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
All of my bars are crafted using cold process soap making. This process combines an oil base with sodium hydroxide, colors, and scents, and the result is a hard bar of soap. By handcrafting each formula, it allows me to increase the moisturizing properties and create a unique appearance for each bar.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I live in a rural area and always look for inspiration in my natural surroundings. I enjoy working with natural colorants and often look to incorporate dried flowers or fruits into each bar.
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
I am an animal lover, who has 6 dogs, 2 cats and 40 chickens!
FAVORITE THING ABOUT DOWNTOWN AUGUSTA.
I love visiting the small businesses and restaurants scattered along Broad. My husband and I enjoy spending a Saturday afternoon, making our way from one end of Broad to the other.
