DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.I started out with chalkboard signs for my own wedding almost 6 years ago. People slowly began asking for custom work and I decided to keep creating. My favorite item to make has been wood slice ornaments, which are always a big seller. I paint wood slices (usually black) and add phrases, designs, or family names. I then add the designs with paint pens. My newest adventure with laser-made items is to create the design digitally, then cut or engrave it to bring my ideas to life. It is so fun and I love helping people decorate their homes or celebrate special events! WHAT INSPIRES YOU? My husband. He has experience in graphic design and was the first one to push me and give me ideas to turn my lettering into a business. He is my biggest supporter.
