I was born on Fort Gordon into a military family and spent most of my childhood traveling. DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.I get inspired like an initial seed. A color, intention, or date will come to me. I begin the note-taking. Then, over the course of days to even months, things continue to flow into my mind that need to be incorporated. Everything in my candle has a home there. Everything means something. Although they end up smelling great, the smell is NOT the focus. The intention and the medicine of it is. The name typically comes several days before the release. It is the glue that finally pulls it all together. WHAT INSPIRES YOU?My inspiration comes from Source, God, Creator. My creations move with the flow of humanities challenges but the stability of the unchanging energy of God. This is an aspect of life we are called to seek safety and refuge despite all of the external influences. My products affirm that divine power in each person they touch. You are then further empowered to remember where you’ve come from so you worry less about where you are going. FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.I love to dance. Bachata is my favorite! FAVORITE THING ABOUT DOWNTOWN AUGUSTA.Every time I go downtown, there is something new. Augusta is making effort to grow. And that’s what life is about. WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?In anything I create, I love the actual intention behind it. I create candles, jewelry, anointing oils, bath salts, etc that assist the receiver in that aspect of their life. My favorite is the candle process. It’s a combination of chemistry and intent is pure alchemy. WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?Write the vision. Make it plain. Allow for flexibility. There is no failure when you’re in your purpose. In everything you do, throw your heart into it, people will feel it. RETURN TO VENDOR PAGE
